The Arts and Culture Center (Küste) is a hub for cultural exchange where people from all walks of life can gather while carrying on the historical and cultural atmosphere of Katsuura City.
As you enter through the main doors, an expansive entrance unfolds before you, providing a place of relaxation where local residents and other users and visitors can feel safe and comfortable. The Hall has a maximum capacity of 826 and can be used for a wide range of events, including music and dance recitals, traditional performing arts such as rakugo and dance, and other local cultural events. The movable seats can also be retracted, making the Hall ideal for large orchestra and brass band rehearsals, ballroom dancing, and other types of events.
The Conference Room is equipped with a screen, monitor, and sound equipment, and can be used for various purposes, including lectures, meetings, receptions, workshops, and exhibitions. The Multipurpose Room has soundproofing and one mirrored wall, and be used for music and dance practices, rehearsals and small recitals.
The Cooking Room can be used for creative activities and workshops, as well as a kitchen for catering services at other facilities within the center. The Tatami Room can be used for club activities and other group workshops, etc.
In addition, the Katsuura, Fusano, Okitsu, and Ueno Community Halls are scattered throughout the city, providing facilities where people can gather for cultural events, meetings, club activities and other occasions to create a comfortable and healthy local community.
